If you re going to 7tpi i recommend the thicker 332. 12 to 14 ounces. It is strong easy to use and a great choice for sewing fabric leather canvas and vinyl. Anything less than a 3 0 stitch length causes the seam to perforate think of when you tear paper out of a notebook.
