I would recommend this product to everyone. I used the trailpro for three nights in a row without having to re inflate. Although they feel similar when sleeping the rei airrail weighs an astonishing 10 oz more. The therm a rest trail pro sleeping pad is one of their most popular sleeping pads being their warmest pad and still fairly light to carry with its mere 740gr in the 183cm length version.

As already mentioned self inflating it packs up into a reasonably small package that fits nicely into your pack. I am happy with the thickness which is perfect for backpacking comfortably. Being light weight as well as packable will allow this comfortable air mattress to be packed into the wilderness easily. My only real complaint is that it s a bit bulky for a backpacking pad but it more than makes up for it in comfort.

The trail lite s top and bottom are made from a durable 75 denier polyester material making it one of the more durable sleeping pads in this review. Warmer and more comfortable than ever the classic therm a rest trail pro sleeping pad is your ticket to the land of nod in the backcountry. Love how small this sleeping pad rolls up to be and therm a rest is a great company. This classic has been updated with diagonal cut foam which brings added warmth by minimizing convective heat loss.

At 17oz this is far from the lightest pad we reviewed but there were many pads much heavier. Sleeping at high elevations usually means my sleeping pad loses air throughout the night as the temperatures drop. But it is double the price and less durable. Whether is be car camping or backpacking this self inflating air mattress will allow you to sleep in comfort.

The thermarest trail pro is the perfect all around air mattress. The therm a rest neoair xtherm weighs 2 oz less but is more comfortable and packs smaller. Applying the same foam design as the best selling prolite mattress series the trail pro offers weight savings without compromising comfort resulting in the ultimate combination for people who sometimes carry their gear. This pad would do well somewhere you are tentative to bring a less durable pad to such as the desert pokey things or somewhere with sharp rocks.
