The character of ashton in the thirteenth floor shows us how many of us would react if we were discover the world which we inhabit is fake and the horror of what he saw at the end of the world is far more sinister than anything seen in the matrix. Not only does it raise philosophical questions around technology reality and existence it is also an entertaining noir thriller with a few twists. To top the whole thing off this movie has a huge twist in the end a twist that will make a lot of people wonder about the true nature of their own reality.
